Home to your favourite nationwide stores, our open-air centre with wide spacious malls is home to 10 stores, from trendy high street fashion and gorgeous gifts to everyday essentials plus an onsite supermarket.

We have some very exciting plans for the vacant space and will soon be looking to announce a new arrival on the park – keep watching this space for updates

Free Parking for up to 500 cars!

You can shop at your leisure at The Galleries Retail Park, our spacious car park has space for over 500 cars including disabled and parent & child parking bays, conveniently situated at the front of the shopping park.

Presently there aren’t any electric vehicle charging points onsite. The proposal for electric vehicle charging points is currently undergoing a feasibility review.

Disability & Pram Access

Our malls are wide and spacious, as are many of our stores and can easily accommodate wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams. Most stores are on one level along our main malls and those on 2 levels all have lift facilities available in store.

Food and Drink

Costa Coffee can be found on the upper floor of the Next store.

The neighbouring Galleries Shopping Centre is only a few minutes’ walk and can be accessed easily via the pedestrian bridge adjacent to M&S simply foods.

Toilets

Toilets can be found inside Costa Coffee, which is located on the upper floor of the Next Store.

Security

Our onsite security teams help keep the centre safe -and if you ever need help, just ask one of our team members who will be happy to assist.

By Foot

For those travelling to the Galleries Retail Park from surrounding areas,there are a range of footpaths and footbridgesyou can use to access the retail park. The neighbouring Galleries Shopping Centre is only a few minutes’ walk and can easily be accessed via the pedestrian footbridge adjacent M&S simply foods.

Via Car

Immediately adjacent to Washington town centre,The Galleries Retail Park is south of the A1231 Sunderland Highway witheasy access to the A1 and A19.

Via Bus

The Galleries Retail Park is easily accessible from the bus station, which is located at the neighbouring Galleries Shopping Centre and is only a 9-minute walk away.

Via Train

The nearest train stations to the Galleries are Sunderland, Newcastle and Durham
